Light Waves Online & Dance of Welcome

This Online class is streamed to your location from our venue. Join the hybrid dance community to dance at home or outdoors and connect with others.

This class offers a facilitated one hour 5Rhythms Wave starting at at 6:00pm. The room will open at 5:45pm with meditation music.

After the wave there is a group sharing in the hall and the facilitator will invite online dancers to connect with each other after the dance. There is no obligation to stay or connect. You also have the option to leave a message for other dancers or the teacher in the chat.

From April 2022 – this class also becomes a Dance of Welcome.

We support the call to release Asylum Seekers held in detention. This class is streamed to supporters of the cause in Lincoln Square, Carlton, where men held captive on the third floor of the Park hotel can look out of the window, see the dancers and join online as well.

Asylum seeker detainees, their friends & supporters – please join this class FREE as a Dance of Welcome!  This invitation extends to people held in other detention facilities around the country or overseas as well as those volunteers who support their efforts through the Refugee Action Collective.
